Like singers from across the country, the Lancaster Red Rose Chorus is presenting the show Celebrate Harmony to commemorate 75 years of Barbershop Harmony in America.

Founded in 1938 in Tulsa, Okla., the Barbershop Harmony Society is the largest all-male singing organization in the world with nearly 30,000 members including 1500 quartets in 800 chapters. Many of these chapters are also presenting Celebrate Harmony this year.

Another 4,000 barbershoppers are members of affiliated organizations in Australia, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, The Netherlands, Finland, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sweden.

The Barbershop Harmony Society is devoted to promoting, preserving, and enjoying a special form of harmony known as barbershop. The Lancaster Red Rose Chorus has been sharing the joys of music in Lancaster County since 1949.
